Covered bridge at Lake of the Woods, IL.Prairie Cycle Club’s (Champaign-Urbana) Annual Bike Ride from Lake of the Woods near Mahomet, IL.  Marked routes, maps, rest stops, and sag support (until 4:00 pm) are provided. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Kickapoo Rail Trail.  All info and registration.  NO EXTRA CHARGES for online registration. Ride choices: 28, 50, 52, 76 and 100 miles, over flat to gently rolling terrain. Routes pass through Allerton Park (26 miles), White Heath (28 miles) , Gibson City (50 miles). Longer routes of 54, 76, and 104 miles include two or more of these locations.

46th annual ride begins at Morton’s Kennel Lake Sportsmen’s Club.  Situated just outside of Morton, this location offers great access to country roads while remaining close to I-74 and Highway 155 for those traveling to join us. Similar to previous years, the event will include route distances of approximately 20, 45, 62, and 100 miles.  Registration link..

Toluca, IL Jumbo moundAnnual Lehr Hemenway Memorial Bike Ride —Pedaling for Pasta event. Toluca is well known for the Bernardi Restaurants and pasta production facility. Celebrate great Pasta by pedaling in the event in scenic routes with both short and longer distances.

Event will start and end at the site of the Toluca Coal Mine Jumbo in Toluca, IL. Sign up the day of event is or online link below. Ride Starting Time 8:30am. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 — 6th Annual River to Rail Ride

The ride will begin and end at the Vermilion County Kennekuk County Park, the Hideaway Shelter, just northwest of Danville, IL .There will be a 62 mile (metric century),  50 mile (half century) and a 32 mile route. Details and registration link on Facebook

Registration will begin at 7:00 AM. Riders may start at 7:30 AM. Those who wish to ride the 62 mile and 50 mile routes need to begin no later than 8:30 AM. All riders must start by 10:00 AM. A “real food” will be provided starting at 11:00 AM, along with homemade desserts and/or Custard Cup frozen custard.

8th Annual MITM Ride  Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019

Wheelers ride from BloNo to new pavilion in Mackinaw and the Peoria bike clubs ride out from Peoria so that we can “meet in the middle.” Snacks and socializing in Mackinaw with event sponsors Craig Freind, Mackinaw Village President, and State Representative Keith Sommers.  Rain date is the following Saturday.

Great ride in Michigan for $50! The Apple Cider Century in Three Oaks, Michigan is a recreational and social bicycle tour of the countryside and towns of Southwest Michigan.
