Grand Illinois Bike Tour - Ride IllinoisJune 9 – 14, 2019 is the 17th annual Grand Illinois Bike Tour! Our 2019 loop will tour through beautiful Amish country and east central Illinois.  We will start and stop in Tuscola, with overnights in Mattoon (one night), Effingham and Charleston (two nights each). Join us and invite your cycling friends (non-riding volunteers needed too).  Early bird registration opens November 1. <Details and registration links>

Choose among our daily mileage options for a total ranging from 200 to 395 miles. Pick between our camping and motel options, and enjoy evenings filled with good food and fellowship with riders hailing from around the country. Proceeds benefit Ride Illinois and support our mission to make Illinois a better, safer, and more enjoyable place to ride.


Midwest Food BankMidwest Food Bank Flyer – June 8, 2019

Annual charity cycling event to benefit the Midwest Food Bank. Winding through the beautiful central Illinois countryside you can choose from 20, 40 or 60 mile routes or mix and match to do 80 or even 100. There are well supplied rest stops with SAG support if needed. You can start your ride anytime between 6:30 am and 10am but be sure to plan on finishing in time to join us for lunch provided by the Midwest Food Bank. Lunch will be served from 11am – 1pm. Registration is open!

20, 50, or 100 mile rides through the Mackinaw River watershed that incorporate some of Lincoln’s travels through the 8th circuit on this year’s route. Discount for ParkLands members:

is back for the fifth year – welcoming riders of all levels. Four routes are available: 9, 22, 40, and 62 miles.  Proceeds from rider registrations will help fund the McLean County Child Protection Network support for the DeWitt County Children’s Advocacy Center.  Each route begins and ends at the Clinton United Methodist Church. 308 East Main Street, Clinton, IL. 46th annual ride begins at Morton’s Kennel Lake Sportsmen’s Club.  Situated just outside of Morton, this location offers great access to country roads while remaining close to I-74 and Highway 155 for those traveling to join us. Similar to previous years, the event will include route distances of approximately 20, 45, 62, and 100 miles.  Registration link..
