Show & Go Rides
Saturdays & Sundays April through October
Rides meet alongside the Constitution Trail in Normal immediately south of the Connie Link Amphitheater where the north/south and east/west branches of the trail intersect. There is usually parking available immediately north of the Amphitheater that can be accessed from Linden Street.
Show & Go rides do not usually have a designated leader. Destinations and speeds for rides will be agreed upon at the start depending on the mix of riders and wind direction. Some Show & Go rides may have a culinary or other event destination. If this is the case, details will be posted on the website calendar and shared in weekly member emails.
Please note that the focus of our Show & Go rides is not racing or endurance, but rather to encourage and support safe, social cycling for recreation and fitness.
2019 Monthly Show & Go Starting Times*
April 11:00 a.m. | May 10:00 a.m. | June 8:00 a.m. | July & August 7:00 a.m.
September 9:00 a.m. | October 11:00 a.m.
There are no Show & Go rides from November through March. As weather permits, ride notifications may be posted by email. *Note that rides may be cancelled at any time due to inclement weather such as storms and/or extreme cold, wind, snow or ice. <Show & Go Flyer>
Other Rides
To help you ease into the riding season, six weeks of Training Rides are scheduled starting in early May on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday afternoons. In the warmer months, weekday morning rides, late afternoon mellow rides, and night full moon rides may also be available. See the Wheeler website for additional details.
